A CRM for retail and ecommerce that brings customers back
A first sale is expensive to win. The second is easier when you know who the customer is. EDCRM.AI keeps your customer list, follows up unanswered enquiries and runs repeat-purchase, loyalty and review campaigns from one place.
Where retail customers get lost
Someone messages your Instagram page to ask if a sofa comes in grey and what delivery to Sharjah costs. The reply comes four hours later. They never answer. Nobody follows up, because the chat has already slipped down the screen under newer ones. Sales disappear this way on ordinary days, and the owner never sees them because they were never recorded anywhere.
The other loss is the customer who bought once. Their number sits in a billing system or on a delivery note, and nobody contacts them again. There is no list, no record of what they bought, and no way to tell them the new collection has arrived.
How a typical week runs on the platform
Messages from WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, website chat and email come into one inbox. The chat assistant answers stock, price and delivery questions from the information you give it, and hands over to staff when needed. An enquiry that goes quiet is tagged, and a workflow sends one polite follow-up inside the 24-hour messaging window, or a task reminds a team member to call.
A customer list you can use
Each buyer becomes a contact with tags and custom fields for what matters to you: product category, last purchase date, branch, spend band. Smart lists then group them automatically, for example customers who bought a mattress more than a year ago, or everyone who shops at the Abu Dhabi branch. Customers join through checkout forms, a QR code at the till, or an import from your billing system.
- Email and SMS broadcasts go to a chosen segment instead of the whole list.
- WhatsApp campaigns use approved templates and reach only customers who opted in.
- Coupons can be issued per campaign so that you can see which offer brought people back.
- Review requests go out after delivery, and replies are handled from one screen.
Repeat purchases and loyalty
Repeat sales come from timing. A workflow can wait a set number of days after a purchase and then send a refill reminder, a care guide or a related product. Birthday triggers send a greeting with an offer. The loyalty programme rewards returning customers, and gift cards give them something to pass on to friends. Festive campaigns for Eid, Diwali or the wedding season can be scheduled weeks ahead.
How Euro Digital sets it up and supports you
Euro Digital Technologies is an Abu Dhabi IT solutions company, operating since 2016, and an official Meta WhatsApp Business Partner. We import your customer list, connect your messaging channels and payment gateway, build the follow-up and repeat-purchase workflows, and get your WhatsApp templates approved. If you need your online store or billing system linked, our team handles that through the API and webhooks. We train your staff and provide support afterwards.
What a normal day looks like
In the morning, the shop manager opens the inbox on the mobile app and clears overnight messages the assistant could not finish. Tasks show which enquiries need a call. During the day, new customers are added at the till by QR code. Before closing, the dashboard shows the day's enquiries, sales recorded and reviews received. Campaigns run in the background on the schedule you set.
Retail and ecommerce: common questions
Does EDCRM.AI replace my ecommerce platform or POS?
No. Your store and point-of-sale system keep handling stock, checkout and billing. EDCRM.AI sits alongside them and manages customer records, conversations and marketing. Order data can be passed in through the API and webhooks so that purchases trigger follow-up messages. Euro Digital scopes this link during set-up.
Can I message all my past customers on WhatsApp?
Only those who have agreed to receive messages from you. Meta requires opt-in for business-initiated messages, and each message must use an approved template. We help you collect opt-ins properly, through checkout tick boxes, QR codes and chat prompts. Email and SMS can reach the rest, subject to your local rules.
Can it sell products directly?
Yes, for simpler needs. You can list products, build order forms with upsells, send payment links and sell gift cards or subscriptions. This suits pre-orders, limited drops and service add-ons. A large catalogue with stock control is better kept on a dedicated store platform and linked to the CRM.
How do I know which campaigns work?
Reports show where each contact came from and what happened next. Ad reporting covers Google and Meta campaigns, with leads synced into the CRM. Coupons and tags tie sales back to a specific broadcast. You see enquiries, conversions and recorded revenue by source on one dashboard, without joining spreadsheets.
