Email and SMS marketing campaigns run from your CRM
Send newsletters, broadcasts and drip sequences to the contacts already in your CRM. Replies land on the contact record, so your team knows who to call next.
One contact list for every campaign
Most businesses keep their customer list in one place and their email tool in another. The list gets exported, uploaded, and is out of date by the following week. In EDCRM.AI the campaign tools sit on top of the CRM itself. When a lead fills in a form or a deal moves stage, that contact is ready for the next send.
You can send email and SMS from the same screen. A reply to either one arrives in the conversations inbox, in the same thread as that person's WhatsApp messages and call logs. Nobody has to check a separate mailbox to find out who answered.
Newsletters, broadcasts and drip sequences
There are three ways to send, and most teams end up using all of them. The newsletter builder is drag and drop, with templates you can save in your own colours and reuse each month, so a regular update takes minutes to prepare.
- A broadcast goes to a chosen list once, either now or at a time you schedule.
- A drip campaign sends a series of messages at set gaps, such as day one, day three and day seven.
- A scheduled campaign can be prepared during the week and sent at the hour your customers usually read their messages.
- Content AI can draft a first version of an email for you to edit before it goes out.
- A workflow can start a sequence on its own when a tag is added or a form is submitted.
Segments that match the message to the reader
Sending everything to everyone is the quickest way to lose subscribers. Smart lists let you filter contacts by tag, custom field, pipeline stage or lead score, and the list updates itself as records change. You write one message for people who enquired and did not buy, and a different one for existing customers.
Social planner and ad lead sync
Two supporting tools sit alongside campaigns. The social planner lets you schedule posts to your social networks in advance, so the week's content is planned in one sitting. The ads manager covers Google and Meta ads and syncs new leads from your lead forms into the CRM. A new lead can then join a welcome sequence without anyone copying details from a spreadsheet.
What to prepare before your first send
A little preparation makes the first campaign go much better. None of it is technical, and we go through each item with you during onboarding. Most teams can gather everything on this list in an afternoon, and it saves a good deal of rework later.
- Put your contact list in a spreadsheet, with a column showing where each contact came from.
- Remove anyone who has not agreed to hear from you, and keep a record of consent for the rest.
- Decide the sender name and the email address that replies should go to.
- Pick three segments to start with, such as new enquiries, past customers and lapsed customers.
- Write one useful message for each segment before you plan a full calendar.
How Euro Digital sets it up
Our team connects your sending domain so emails come from your own business address, imports and tidies your list, and builds your first templates and segments with you. SMS rules and sender registration differ from country to country, so we explain what applies before you send. SMS availability depends on the destination country, number type, carrier and local registration rules. EDCRM.AI utilizes an integrated enterprise Phone System with country-specific telecom requirements and directs customers to the applicable country pricing/compliance rules. Where sender registration or an approved sender type is required, Euro Digital completes that process before campaigns go live. We confirm the exact sending capability and registration steps for your target countries during onboarding..
Your team then gets a training session on building and scheduling campaigns. Support stays available afterwards from our office in Abu Dhabi and our delivery team in India, so there is someone to ask when the second and third campaigns raise new questions.
Email and SMS campaigns: common questions
Can I import my existing email list?
Yes. You can upload a spreadsheet and map its columns to CRM fields, including tags and custom fields. We recommend importing only people who have agreed to receive messages from you. During set-up our team helps remove duplicates and old addresses, so your first campaign goes to a list you can trust.
How is a drip sequence different from a broadcast?
A broadcast is a single message sent to a list at one time. A drip sequence is a series of messages spaced over days or weeks, and each contact starts it from their own entry point. Broadcasts suit announcements and offers. Drip sequences suit new enquiries and new customers.
Can I send WhatsApp campaigns in the same way?
WhatsApp works differently from email and SMS. Messages your business starts must use templates approved by Meta, and the customer must have opted in. Replies inside the 24-hour window can be free-form. EDCRM.AI supports this, and the WhatsApp Business page on this site explains how that channel is handled.
What happens when someone unsubscribes?
The contact is marked so that marketing messages on that channel no longer go to them. The record stays in your CRM with its history, so your team can still see past conversations and deals. You should check the consent and marketing rules that apply in each country you send to.
